About the project

Žižek Sublime Search is a searchable corpus of the published writings of Slavoj Žižek. It was created as a practical research tool for navigating, searching, and working with Žižek's texts more efficiently.

About me

My name is Nicolás Crespo. I am a bolivian PhD candidate in Political Studies at FLACSO Ecuador. I am interested in the philosophy of Slavoj Žižek, which also informs and nourishes my reflections on politics and political theory.

This project was born out of a simple need: I needed a tool like this for my own academic work, so I decided to build one in my free time. I hope it will be useful to anyone interested in disseminating, building on, or even enhancing (why not!) Žižek’s work.

Roadmap:

• In this precise moment funds are needed to cover the costs of hosting and maintaining the project, as well as to acquire more texts to expand the corpus.

• In future versions, I also hope to add secondary texts like articles written by Žižek and transcripts of his interviews and presentations.

• Of course I also want to generate a corpus of Žižek's texts in Spanish, which is a long-term goal of mine, and it coincides with my ethical/political commitments to decolonize access to knowledge.

• Achieve communism.
